Are the students good?

Yes! Our students are already full-time writers, published novelists, etc. and are learning to freelance. GigLoft backs the quality of their work in every case. You will not be forced to publish anything that doesn’t meet your standards.

Why do I have to publish under the student’s byline?

We’ve identified three compelling reasons:

1. It helps students build a diverse portfolio of real, credible brands.
2. It encourages them to take full ownership of their work, resulting in better writing.
3. It makes your brand seem “bigger” and can drive demand for guest posts on your blog, which can earn you valuable relationships and backlinks.

How much of my time will this take?

As little as possible! We just ask that someone on your team provide helpful feedback on the guest post you receive each month, to help students improve.

What if I love a student’s work?

Awesome! Hire them. Their goal is to build a booming freelance career—and GigLoft is only successful when our students get steady work.

What if the work isn’t good?

We’ll never force you to publish anything that doesn’t meet your standards. If you receive a guest post that isn’t up to par, please let the student know exactly why, and give them a chance to edit or rewrite it.

Can I see examples of student work?

Our first cohort starts on June 10th, so not yet! We will aggregate student work on our platform as it becomes available.
